Partners and Collaborations

The Program is organized by the Department of Economics and Statistics "Cognetti de Martiis" of the University of Turin in collaboration with Metro-Polis and Corep, and builds upon a consolidated collaborative network coming from national and international research centres and institutions.



The University of Turin is one of the oldest universities in Europe, founded in 1404 by Ludovico Savoy-Acaja. It is steadily ranked among the top 5 Italian Universities.

The Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Torino is the heir of one of the Italian most ancient and most prestigious institutions for the study of economics, and is now specialized in theoretical and applied research and in training in several scientific areas at the crossing of Economics and Statistics.



ILO - International Labour Office

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is a United Nations agency whose mandate is to advance social and economic justice through setting international labour standards. The ILO's labour standards, set through conventions and treaties, are aimed at ensuring accessible, productive, and sustainable work in conditions of freedom, equity, security and dignity.

French Institute of Research for Sustainable Development (IRD), LEDa-DIAL, Paris

DIAL (Développement, Institutions et Mondialisation) is a research centre within the French Institute of Research for Sustainable Development, a French public institution supporting equitable scientific partnership and interdisciplinary, citizen, sustainability science committed to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Marche Polytechnic University

Marche Polytechnic University is a public university based in Ancona, Italy. It offers several undergraduate and graduate degrees, among which one of the oldest and most prestigious doctoral programmes in Economics in Italy.

Laboratorio Revelli - Centre for Employment Studies

The LABORatorio R. Revelli, is a private research institute founded in 1999 in cooperation with the University of Turin. The LABORatorio is specialized in applied research in collaboration with national and foreign Universities and Institutions on various themes relating to the labour market, among which migration and aging, labour and health, public policies evaluation.




Among the very few Consortia that have brought together the Piedmontese University System, COREP was established in 1987 and nowadays implements collaboration initiatives between the University of Turin, the world of production and services and local public institutions in three main areas of intervention: high-level specialist training, support for innovation and services for Consurtium Members.


Metro-Polis is an academic spin-off of the University of Turin specialized in Big Data Analytics, field and web surveys, simulation models and training.
